As you’ve probably noticed around town, Winchester is celebrating going green; but not as you would expect!  The green festivities have less to do with our environment and more to do with the shamrock infused holiday of St. Patrick’s Day!

Winchester is a town that thrives on community and will embrace any chance given to enjoy friends and family.   Today’s celebration rings true for many Winchester residents as the majority of our ancestry can be traced back to Irish roots!  Of all nationalities that are represented in Winchester (English, German, French and Italian); Irish is at the forefront with 28% of our population; which is another fantastic reason to celebrate!
