As we draw close to Valentine’s Day, many of us begin to take note of things that we love, and I have to admit; I’m one of those people.  On the top of my list are, of course, my wife and family.  Their love and support are unending and what keeps me going on a daily basis.  I also love where I live and work.  Winchester is such a great community in which to be involved and I feel blessed to live here.  I’m sure those of you who live in Winchester feel the same way!

This weekend, why not share your love for Winchester with those you love?  This vibrant community offers many different events throughout the year, so you know there’s bound to be a fun event especially around a holiday, and Valentine’s Day is no different! 

If dancing is something you enjoy; you’ll want to take advantage of this dance taking place this weekend in Winchester!  Even if you tend to shy away from getting out on the dance floor; you may find that shedding your ‘no dancing’ rule will be the thing to bring you closer to those you love.

- Celebrate at this Valentine's Day dance for Singles & Couples! A popular area band, the Fred Manzi Trio, will provide some swingin' music, and you’ll also enjoy sweet Valentines treats. In addition to the refreshments, there will be a wine and beer bar available.  So, Couples bring your sweetheart; Singles come alone or bring a friend.   Tickets to this event are $15 and can be purchased at the Center or at Book Ends. For those mothers, grandmothers, aunts or guardians looking to spend some special time with their son, why not see a movie?  The Winchester Recreation Department is hosting a Mother / Son movie night, which is a great way to build on the relationship in a fun and relaxed way!
